Our 2024 values revealed

The behaviours that guide us

As living organisms grow and evolve, so do people and the companies that surround them. While the Board and Leadership are responsible for setting an organisations vision, purpose + strategy, the values come from the people.

Since our founding in 2019, we have embodied ancient Japanese philosophies of Ikigai, Kaizen, Kokoro and Wabi-Sabi as our guiding principles. While staying true to these, we have evolved to more granular active statements. Easily visible and easily measurable in our values-in-action framework for reward and recognition. Using our origami icons, we honour our heritage and embrace the future.

Meet People Where They Are

We create inclusivity by respecting everyone’s unique journey, creating spaces where people feel they matter and are understood from the start.

The heart icon, representing empathy and inclusivity, aligns perfectly with the value of meeting people where they are because it symbolises understanding, acceptance, and creating spaces where everyone feels valued and respected regardless of their background or journey.

Define Great and Get It Done

We embody a mindset where vision fuels action to excellence. We set big, bold and clear goals, pursuing them with commitment.

The lion icon symbolises strength, leadership, and determination, making it fitting for the value statement "Define Great and Get It Done" as it reflects the boldness, vision, and commitment needed to set and achieve ambitious goals.

Embrace Synchronicities

We are open to the meaningful coincidences in life, we find value in unexpected connections, nurturing a sense of interconnectedness and wonder.

Owls are often associated with wisdom and insight, making them well-suited for the value of embracing synchronicities as they represent openness to meaningful connections and unexpected coincidences in life, reflecting a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of all things.

Harmonise Work, Life + Nature

We integrate work and a connection to nature to cultivate inner well-being. Our focus is restoration and longevity in all we do.

Trees symbolise growth, resilience, and harmony with nature, making them ideal for the value of harmonising work, life, and nature as they represent integrating work responsibilities with a connection to the natural world to promote well-being and sustainability.

Take the Complex and Make It Simple

We simplify to make understanding and action accessible to all. The mind is complex, but they way we communicate doesn’t have to be.

Sheep are often associated with simplicity and clarity, making them a fitting symbol for the value of simplifying complexity as they represent the idea of making information and processes accessible and understandable to all.

Progress Over Perfection

We value making an impact before making it perfect. We launch initiatives boldly, knowing refinement and improvement evolve through experience.

Swans symbolise grace and elegance, but also adaptability and transformation, making them well-suited for the value of progress over perfection as they reflect the idea of embracing imperfection as a natural part of the journey towards growth and improvement.
